1. Who we are and what these terms cover

These terms apply to your use of this website and to appliance repair services scheduled with TrueFix Los Angeles, operated by True Fix Los Angeles (“TrueFix Los Angeles,” “we,” “us”). We provide residential and commercial appliance repair in the parts of Los Angeles County and a few neighboring Orange County cities listed on our service areas page. By requesting or scheduling service, you agree to these terms.

2. Requests and scheduling

• Submitting a request through this website does not by itself confirm an appointment. We will contact you to confirm a time.
• Arrival times are estimates and can be affected by traffic, parking and earlier jobs. We will try to let you know if we are running late.
• Please make sure an adult (18+) who can authorize work is present, and tell us about gate codes, building sign-in, parking restrictions or tenant-notice requirements in advance.
• If you are a tenant, you are responsible for any permission your landlord or property manager requires before work is performed.
• Please let us know as early as possible if you need to reschedule or cancel.

3. Diagnosis, estimates and authorization

• Repair work is performed only after you authorize it.
• Any estimate is based on the diagnosis at the time of the visit. If additional problems are found, we will explain them and ask for your approval before doing more work.
• Payment terms will be explained before work begins and are due as stated on your invoice.

4. Parts

Parts may be original manufacturer (OEM) or equivalent-quality replacements. If a part must be ordered, we will tell you the expected wait and schedule a return visit. We cannot guarantee that every repair will be completed in a single visit.

5. Warranty

Any warranty on parts or labor, including its length and what it covers, will be stated in writing on your invoice. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under California law that cannot be waived.

6. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for:

• Pre-existing damage or wear unrelated to the repair we performed
• Food spoilage or other loss resulting from an appliance failure
• Indirect, incidental or consequential damages
• Appliances that turn out to be beyond economical repair

7. Website content

Information on this website, including troubleshooting tips, is general guidance. Unplug an appliance and shut off gas or water before inspecting it, and stop if you are unsure. Content may change without notice.

8. Text messages and privacy

Text messaging is governed by our SMS Terms, and personal information by our Privacy Policy.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, unless applicable law provides otherwise.

10. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when they last changed.
